Actor Emmad Irfani recently acknowledged that producer and fellow actor Fahad Mustafa was instrumental in shaping his career.
The Jalan actor candidly talked about how his co-star Fahad Mustafa from Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum had a big influence on his career in an interview with an Indian outlet.
“Perhaps I’m going to reveal this for the very first time here, Mustafa aka Fahad Mustafa has a very important and instrumental role in the career of Adeel aka Emmad Irfani,” Emmad shared, acknowledging Mustafa’s influence.
Reflecting on the past, Emmad added, “In retrospect, if I look 4 to 5 years back, Fahad Mustafa as a producer has a very very instrumental role in my career trajectory.”
Emmad expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with Fahad again, stating, “And now again, him giving me an opportunity to play Adeel alongside him, I think Fahad really believed in me even when he could have had a bit of [creative] differences with me.”
Emmad also praised Fahad’s belief in him, saying, “I can’t say it with all assurance but I have a feeling that he believed in me. Even with this project, he really did.”
The Cheekh actor concluded by highlighting the strong rapport between them, which made their on-screen chemistry effortless: “So that camaraderie, team chemistry, love, and respect we had for each other is the reason it was easy for an actor like me to translate it on screen.”
In Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, Emmad starred as Adeel, alongside Fahad Mustafa, Hania Aamir as Sharjeena, and Naeema Butt as Rubab.
