Karachi: Talha Ahmad, a content creator known for his unique family-oriented content, has had his Instagram account permanently suspended by the platform.
Speaking to a local media outlet, Talha’s brother, Taha Ahmad, revealed that the reason given for the suspension was that Talha is supposedly under 13 years old. However, Taha confirmed that Talha is currently 16.
Taha explained that after his brother’s account was suspended, they immediately appealed to Instagram. The platform asked for documents that could verify Talha’s age, such as a national ID card or other official papers that included his photo.
Since Talha did not have a national ID, Taha submitted his school documents, which showed his age, name, and a picture. However, despite providing these, Instagram has not yet restored the account.
When asked about the sudden suspension, Taha said he was confused about whether the account was reported or what caused the permanent deactivation. Regarding their future plans, he mentioned that Talha intends to start creating content on a new account soon, rather than waiting for the old one to be reactivated.
Meanwhile, on Talha Ahmad’s Facebook account, his followers have been leaving various comments about the suspension.
