- A resurfaced clip of Justin Bieber and Diddy has drawn attention.
- The clip is from a 2011 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!
- In the video, Diddy referred to Justin as his “little brother.”
Following Diddy’s recent arrest for alleged sex trafficking and racketeering, a resurfaced clip from a 2011 Jimmy Kimmel Live! episode featuring Justin Bieber and Diddy has gained widespread attention.
In the playful exchange, Combs, now 54, affectionately refers to 16-year-old Bieber as “like a little brother” but cautions him, “He knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with big brother Puff on national television. Everything ain’t for everybody.”
In the video, young Bieber and Diddy are seen joking around with host Jimmy Kimmel about their upcoming music project. Diddy describes their friendship as “strange” and likens it to the reality TV duo Rob & Big, expressing a protective stance towards Bieber: “He’s somebody that we definitely have our arms around and we wanna protect him because he’s genuinely such a nice person besides his talents.”
As the talk goes on, Diddy makes a reference to some of the “wild things” Bieber may have encountered while being under his mentorship. According to a source, Bieber was “thrown to the wolves” by his parents and “should never have been allowed to party with Diddy or anyone else when he was a teenager.” Amid grave accusations against him, the resurgence of the video raises questions regarding Diddy’s influence on the pop star.
