The Pakistani pop-rock band Jal is set to make a highly anticipated return to Bangladesh after 14 years, as confirmed by Goher Mumtaz on Instagram. The announcement has generated significant excitement among fans, though it has also sparked disappointment due to Farhan Saeed’s absence from the performance.
Goher Mumtaz shared the news on his Instagram, stating, “The album that never left our hearts is back with a bang. Catch the remastered tracks of your favorite #Aadat and a brand new track ‘Sun Sarkar’.” He also promoted the release of the remastered Aadat album, saying, “#Aadat remastered album out now on all streaming platforms.”
Fans were initially thrilled about the band’s reunion, but the excitement was tempered by the news that Farhan Saeed would not be performing. Saeed addressed his followers on Instagram Stories, clarifying, “I won’t be performing with the band this time but when I come to Bangladesh, I will update my fans accordingly.”
Jal, known for its hit tracks and influential pop-rock sound, originally included Goher Mumtaz, Atif Aslam, and Farhan Saeed. The lineup later expanded to include Shazi, Omer Nadeem, and Salman Albert.
