Renowned actor Naeema Butt recently revealed that she once aspired to become a doctor, but abandoned the idea when she found herself unmotivated to wake up early for the MBBS entry test.
Appearing on a talk show, Naeema shared that most of her family members, including her mother, are doctors, which made her decision to pursue acting even more interesting.
When host Imran Ashraf asked why she chose the entertainment industry over medicine, Naeema explained, “I completed my FSc in pre-medical but later pursued Mass Communication at university. It might have been ‘written in my destiny.’” She added that the turning point came when she realized she disliked waking up early for the entry test. “I didn’t like waking up early for MBBS entry test, so I decided that very day that I didn’t want to become a doctor.”
Naeema also discussed her belief in love at first sight, saying, “I do believe in it, but I don’t see it as an impulsive decision. Something in the subconscious mind often attracts a person toward someone.”
Naeema has captivated audiences with her role in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, where she plays a powerful businesswoman caught in a tumultuous relationship, eventually exposing her husband’s fraudulent activities.
