Keanu Reeves has cast uncertainty on his return for a potential John Wick sequel, citing concerns about the physical demands of the franchise. The 60-year-old actor revealed that while his passion for the series remains strong, his boThe futuredy may not be up for the challenge.
Speaking on CBS This Morning, Reeves admitted, “You can never say never, but my knees right now are saying, ‘You can’t do another John Wick.’” He added, “So, my heart does, but I don’t know if my knees can do it.”
The John Wick films, renowned for their intense action and intricate stunt work, demand peak physical performance. Reeves acknowledged the toll these demands have taken on him, quipping, “My knees now say to me that you cannot do anymore John Wicks.”
The fate of Reeves’ character remains uncertain following the events of John Wick: Chapter 4, where the titular assassin’s story appeared to conclude. While there has been no official confirmation of a fifth installment, producer Erica Lee hinted in November that a continuation would depend on favorable circumstances, stating, “The stars have to align.”
