James Cameron shares insights on next “Avatar” – Promises best of three

James Cameron, renowned for his work in the Hollywood film industry, has directed several of the highest-grossing films of all time. Recently, he revealed details about his next dream project—the third installment of “Avatar”.
Discussing “Avatar: Fire and Ash”, set for release on December 19 this year, the director shared details about the cast and the future installments of the franchise.
In an intriguing conversation with Stuff, the highly acclaimed director mentioned, “I’ve shown it to a few selected people and the feedback has been it’s the most emotional and maybe the best of the three so far.”
He added that the true audience response would be evident in the coming months when the movie released. However, he expressed confidence, stating, “I feel pretty good about it. The actors have delivered exceptional performances, and it’s pretty heart-wrenching in a good way.”
James Cameron shared that he plans to film all five installments of the “Avatar” franchise in Wellington, New Zealand. The *Titanic* director also revealed that completing the series would take another five to six years and that he has already created rough designs for the fourth and fifth films.
As James Cameron continues to deliver major hits with his Pandora-focused series, he has also successfully created new jobs for about 1,000 people.
“Hopefully we’ll roll right over into [movies] four and five from that,” the director who likes to be called Jim these days mentioned during the interview.
For those unfamiliar, “Avatar” will feature Sam Worthington reprising his role as Jake Sully, alongside Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri. Sigourney Weaver will return as Kiri, while Stephen Lang will portray Miles Quaritch once again.
