Popular Pakistani actress Hiba Ali Khan has shared a piece of advice for young girls contemplating marriage at an early age, urging them to delay until at least 25. Speaking on the Adnan Faisal Podcast, Khan expressed her views on the matter, stating, “Engagement before fifteen, marriage before eighteen. Excuse me? What’s up with that? Absolutely not. Do not even think about getting married before twenty-five!”
Khan emphasized that a two-year commitment is sufficient to gauge the seriousness of a relationship, asserting, “If you find a good person then two years of commitment is enough. It’s not an impossible feat.” She reassured that age should not be a barrier, noting, “Even after thirty-five a woman can properly conceive, she’s a fully blossomed youth, she’s fit all around, even mentally.”
Reflecting on her own experiences, Khan mentioned, “I got married early. My generation wasn’t as smart as this new one, so we didn’t really consider how damaging this would be career-wise.” She shared that having a baby with her former spouse made her realize her desire to spend more time focusing on her career before diving into family life.
