The singer, who had previously performed in Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Hyderabad, slipped while singing his hit track Patiala Peg. A widely shared video captured the moment, where Diljit quickly recovered and continued his performance with his signature charm.
Moving energetically across the stage, Diljit suddenly lost his footing and fell. Rising immediately, he addressed the audience and the organizers, saying in Hindi, “The fire you launch here, don’t do that. Oil gets spilled on the stage.” Assuring fans with a thumbs-up, he added, “I’m ok,” before resuming his song.

Fans on social media were quick to connect the incident to a similar fall Diljit experienced during a 2013 performance with Yo Yo Honey Singh.
