2025 MAMA Awards: Hong Kong tickets available starting friday

Tickets for the 2025 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), one of K-pop’s biggest annual events, will go on sale this Friday, with early access for Visa cardholders and general sales beginning Monday.

Returning to Hong Kong for the first time in seven years, the star-studded two-day ceremony will take place at the 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium on November 28 and 29. The event is sponsored by Visa, with presale tickets available via Cityline for cardholders on October 17. General public sales will follow on multiple platforms.

The MAMA Awards, last hosted in Hong Kong in 2018, are widely regarded as a major highlight in the K-pop calendar. Previous editions have seen performances and wins from global K-pop sensations like BTS, Wanna One, and TWICE. At the 2018 event, ticket prices ranged from HK$888 (US$113) to HK$2,488.

This year’s shortlist includes major girl groups such as aespa, BABYMONSTER, (G)I-DLE, IVE, TWICE, and LE SSERAFIM for Best Female Group. For Best Female Artist, three members of Blackpink  Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé  are among the nominees, though organizers have yet to confirm the attendance of any specific artists.

Kai Tak Stadium, which opened on March 1, has quickly become a hub for major live performances, having hosted acts like Coldplay, Nicholas Tse, Mayday, and K-pop groups including NCT Dream and SEVENTEEN.

Fans eager to attend the highly anticipated ceremony are advised to secure tickets early as demand is expected to be high.
