Record-Breaking: Remittances flow in Pakistan Surge upto $3.4 Billion in June 2025
KARACHI – Workers sent $3.4 billion in remittances to Pakistan in June 2025. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Wednesday that workers’ remittances rose by 7.9 percent compared to the same month last year.
During the fiscal year 2024-25, workers sent $38.3 billion in remittances to Pakistan, marking a 26.6 percent increase from $30.3 billion in 2023-24.
In June 2025, most remittances came from Saudi Arabia ($823.2 million), the United Arab Emirates ($717.2 million), the United Kingdom ($537.6 million), and the United States ($281.2 million).
Last month, overseas workers sent $3.7 billion in remittances to Pakistan.
In May 2025, most of the remittances came from Saudi Arabia ($913.9 million), the United Arab Emirates ($754.2 million), the United Kingdom ($588.1 million), and the United States ($314.7 million).
