Israel suffers $6b economic loss amid conflict with Iran


TEL AVIV: Israel has reportedly suffered an economic loss of $6 billion due conflict with Iran, according to a foreign news agency.

The report suggests that Israel’s GDP could shrink by 1% as a result of the war. Additionally, the Central Bank of Israel has acknowledged severe damage to national infrastructure caused by the conflict.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement that the victory against Iran has opened the doors of peace, with this victory there is an opportunity for a dramatic extension in peace agreements that we are working vigorous.

Netanyahu said that there was a chance to release the hostages and defeat Hamas, which we will not waste.

Earleir, Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, had praised Pakistan for standing firmly with Iran and expressing solidarity in the wake of the recent Israeli attacks.

In a message posted on social media platform X, the ambassador stated, “Pakistan’s unwavering support and solidarity in response to the unjust aggression imposed by the Zionist regime on Iran is truly commendable.”

He appreciated Pakistan’s principled stance during a critical time, highlighting the strength of bilateral ties between the two nations. He said that the Iranian nation will never forget this brotherly spirit and support from the Pakistani people.
