The gold rate in Pakistan further increased by Rs1,300 to Rs267,700 per tola in the local market on Friday (Nov 15).
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,115, reaching Rs229,510.
On Thursday, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs5,500, closing at Rs266,400.
Meanwhile, the international gold rate increased on Friday, with APGJSA reporting it at $2,565 per ounce (including a $20 premium), up by $13 during the day.
Silver prices, however, stayed steady at Rs3,250 per tola.
