The gold rate in Pakistan further decreased by Rs750 to Rs286,700 per tola in the local market on Thursday (Jan 23).
Similarly, 10-gram gold was priced at Rs245,799 after a decline of Rs641, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, the gold rate per tola had risen by Rs4,250, reaching Rs287,450.
However, on Thursday, the international gold price experienced a drop. According to the APGJSA, the rate stood at $2,743 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting an $8 decrease for the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw a reduction, falling by Rs30 to settle at Rs3,401 per tola.
