Gold rate in Pakistan on Jan 13 down by Rs1,500 to Rs279,300/tola

The gold rate in Pakistan further decreased by Rs1,500 to Rs279,300 per tola in the local market on Monday (Jan 13).

The price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs1,286, bringing it to Rs239,455, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Saturday, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,400, reaching Rs280,800.

The international gold price decreased on Monday, with the APGJSA reporting it at $2,675 per ounce, a drop of $15 for the day, with an added premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices held steady at Rs3,350 per tola.
