Gold prices drop in Pakistan

The price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan dropped by Rs. 300, settling at Rs. 313,700 on Saturday, compared to its previous rate of Rs. 314,000, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 257, reaching Rs. 268,947 from Rs. 269,204.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, the rate of 24-karat gold saw an increase, reaching 4,182 Saudi Riyals (SAR) per tola on March 15, 2025.

The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold in Saudi Arabia stood at SAR 3,589, while an ounce of gold was priced at SAR 11,165.

Gold prices fluctuate based on international market trends, including those affecting Saudi Arabia. The latest update was recorded at 10:00 am on March 15, 2025.

Gold has held significant value for centuries due to its rarity, durability, and global appeal. It is widely regarded as a safe-haven asset, often used to protect wealth during economic uncertainty.
