Gold prices in Pakistan surged for the third consecutive day on Thursday, following trends in the global market.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs3,700, reaching Rs278,000, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs3,172, bringing it to Rs238,340.
On the international front, gold prices also saw a significant jump, climbing by $37 to $2,668 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
In the local market, silver prices also experienced a rise, increasing by Rs200 to settle at Rs3,450 per tola.
