Several powerful explosions were reported in Kabul late Thursday night, shaking parts of the capital and prompting concern among residents.
Eyewitnesses described hearing at least two loud blasts followed by the sound of aircraft overhead. While the exact cause of the explosions remains unclear, unconfirmed reports suggest the possibility of an airstrike.
Taliban government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid acknowledged the explosions in a statement released on social media, confirming that investigations are underway. He added that there have been no reports of casualties or property damage so far, urging residents to remain calm.
