Wednesday weather: hot and dry conditions make a short comeback – HUM News


WEB DESK: The weather across most parts of Pakistan is expected to remain dry on Wednesday, according to the latest forecast issued by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Going region by region, in the federal capital Islamabad and its surrounding areas, conditions are likely to stay dry throughout the day.

Likewise, most districts of Punjab are expected to experience dry weather, with no significant change in temperature or precipitation patterns.

Sindh is likely to remain hot and dry as well, particularly in interior regions where temperatures are expected to stay above normal.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, dry weather is forecast for most of the province’s plains, while upper districts may see partly cloudy skies.

Hot and dry conditions are expected to prevail across most of Balochistan too, but the coastal areas may experience partly cloudy skies, with chances of light rain or drizzling at a few locations.

The weather in Azad Jammu & Kashmir is expected to be dry and partly cloudy. Weather in Gilgit-Baltistan is expected to remain dry with partly cloudy skies as well.

TEMPORARY LULL IN AUTUMN’S ARRIVAL

While Wednesday is forecast to be hot and dry, the general weather patterns in the country have started to move towards dry chill, after a rainy spell. Autumn is just around the corner and nighttime temperatures are expected to be considerably lower than the dry and hot afternoons.

In the northern regions of the country, snowfall has also been reported, which is also expected to bring the winter chills in coming few days.
