GHOTKI: Eight passengers were killed in a tragic accident near Ghotki on the Sukkur-Multan Motorway where a passenger coach collided with a trailer on Monday morning.
The passenger coach was en route from Mansehra to Karachi when it collided with a trailer resulting in the death of eight passengers including women and children and injuries to seven. The bodies and injured were moved to Taluka Hospital Ghotki.
According to the police, the accident was caused by speeding, as confirmed by the Motorway Police.
Liaquatpur Truck Collision
Meanwhile, four people were critically injured when a truck collided with an oil tanker, which was parked on side roads for repair in Liaqatpur,
According to rescue sources, the incident occurred near Basti Nanari on Khanpur Road. The injured were promptly transported to the hospital.
Police arrived at the scene and sealed off the area where the accident occurred.
