Intelligence reports also confirmed the direct involvement of Afghan nationals. Militants were using Afghan soil against Pakistan, which remains a serious concern.

Pakistan expects the interim Afghan government to fulfil its responsibilities and prevent terrorists from using its territory.

The military’s spokesperson said that a clearance operation was still underway to track down more militants. Operations will continue until India-backed terrorism is completely eliminated.

Paying tribute to the fallen soldiers, the ISPR said that the brave sons of the soil sacrificed their lives for the motherland. Their sacrifices further strengthen our resolve.
