Popular Pakistani YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, is currently facing serious legal trouble for allegedly promoting illegal online gambling applications. In the latest development, a Lahore court has extended his physical remand by four more days to allow further investigation.
Ducky Bhai was presented before Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo at the District Katchery Lahore, where the prosecution informed the court that during the initial five-day remand, several significant leads and names had emerged. The government counsel requested an extension, promising to present complete findings at the next hearing.
Although Ducky Bhai’s lawyer, Chaudhry Usman Ali, opposed the extension, the court accepted the prosecution’s plea and granted four additional days of remand.
According to the investigation and FIR details, Ducky Bhai promoted multiple illegal and unregistered betting platforms via his YouTube channel and social media handles. These include Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game all of which operate without legal approval in Pakistan. His promotional content reportedly reached a massive audience across digital platforms.
Investigators from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) revealed that Ducky Bhai earned around $20,000 (approximately PKR 5.5 million) per campaign. Reports suggest that he was involved in over 50 such promotional campaigns, amounting to tens of millions in revenue from these activities.
An FIR was filed on August 17, 2025, against Saad Ur Rehman under several sections of PECA (Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act) and the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). The charges include electronic fraud, identity spoofing, spamming, and public deception through the promise of unlawful rewards.
He was arrested at Lahore Airport on August 16 while allegedly attempting to travel abroad. The court had initially granted a five-day remand, which has now been extended to allow investigators to analyze his data and digital connections.
