RAWALPINDI: Security forces foiled an infiltration attempt as a group of Indian-sponsored TTP (Khawarij) terrorists entered into Pakistan from Afghanistan, killing 33 of them, in Zhob district of Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Khawarij were eliminated in the Sambaza area on the night between August 7 and 8.

It said “a large group of Khawarij, belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khawarij, attempted to infiltrate the Pakistan-Afghanistan border”, which the security forces were able to detect.
“Our troops effectively engaged and thwarted their attempt to infiltrate,” said the ISPR said. “As a result of precise, bold and skillful engagement, 33 Indian-sponsored Khawarij were sent to hell.
Meanwhile, the security forces also seized a large cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives, it added.
At the same time, the ISPR mentioned that a clearance operation was being conducted in the area to eliminate their associates and facilitators.

Reacting to the news, President Asif Ali Zardari promised that every incursion attempt into Pakistan would be responded effectively.
He praised the military for their swift and effective response, and said the war against terrorism would continue till its logical conclusion.
Similarly, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the entire country was determined to root out terrorism from Pakistan and extended full support to the security forces to achieve the goal.
On the other hand, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi described the killing of dozens of terrorists a massive success. “Death is the destiny of Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists.”
At the same time, he vowed that they would not spare the Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists and their backers.
