Honda City, Civic prices surge by Rs200,000 in Pakistan- Check details
Car buyers in Pakistan have faced another setback as Honda Atlas has increased the prices of its City and Civic models starting from July 1, 2025.
This new price hike is due to the New Excise Value (NEV) levy that the government introduced under new taxes.
Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan had previously avoided passing on the rising costs to customers, but this time they say they have no choice but to shift the burden because of the NEV levy after the new Budget. The price of the Honda City 1.2 MT went up by 47,000, making the new price 4,696,000, while the City 1.2 CVT now costs 4,737,000 after an increase of 48,000.
The City Aspire CVT saw a rise of 120,000, taking its price to 5,969,000. The price of the Civic Oriel increased by Rs175,000, reaching 8,834,000, while the top-of-the-line Civic Turbo RS crossed the 10-million mark with a new price of 10,100,000 after a jump of 2 lac.

New pricing applies to all invoices generated from July 1, 2025 onward. Customers with pending/back orders dated June 30 or earlier will also be charged based on new rates.
Any new bookings placed on or after July 1 will follow the revised prices. Customers will be liable for any future changes in duties, taxes, or levies imposed by the government.
Other car brands Suzuki, Kia, and Changan have also increased their prices after Budget 2025, citing hikes to rising duties, taxes, and cost pressures. As a result, owning a brand-new car in Pakistan is becoming increasingly challenging for the average buyer.
