LAHORE: A Turkish Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport shortly after take-off due to a technical malfunction on Monday morning.
According to sources, the aircraft developed a fault just moments after departure. The pilot immediately contacted air traffic control and requested permission to return.
The control tower granted clearance for landing, after which the pilot safely brought the aircraft back without any mishap.
After landing, the plane was moved to the parking area where aircraft engineers began a detailed inspection.
Airport sources confirmed that all passengers have been safely offloaded and shifted to the lounge. No injuries have been reported
The flight will only depart again after a complete technical check and clearance from engineers, according to officials.
