Nowshera’s TikTok content creator sisters rescued – HUM News

NOWSHERA: Afghan twins, TikTok content creator sisters, who had gone missing from Mardan after a shopping trip, have been rescued from Peshawar after six days.

Deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Naseem Khan told media on Sunday that sisters, Shakeela and Naila, were traced by the Nowshera Risalpur Police using mobile data. Both sisters were safely taken to Risalpur Police Station.

The report of the incident was registered at the Risalpur police station, under code 174, on the complaint of the mother of both sisters. However, the recovered sisters have appealed to the court for protection. DSP Naseem Khan said that they are afraid of becoming a target of honour killing.

In response to this request, their mother’s request for handover of daughters has been rejected by the court. The Nowshera court has also ordered that the sisters be shifted to Dar-ul-Aman (women shelter) in Mardan.

Both sisters have been safely shifted to the shelter, DSP Naseem Khan said.
