Imran Khan will not take any deal; appeared happy and healthy, says Aleema Khan – HUM News


RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan is in good health and has no plans of affirming to any ‘deals’, said his sister Aleema Khan who visited him in Adiala Jail on Tuesday.

The party members including chairman Barrister Gohar and lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar also met with Imran Khan.

“Today we met both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, and he looked healthy and happy. He does not have any issues with his ear, and has no other illnesses either. Establishment’s ‘touts’ are busy spreading false rumours about him on social media, and their sources should be investigated. A new rumour is now circulating that he has a brain infection,” Aleema said while speaking to the media adding that all hearings pertaining to Khan had been postponed, and that she was meeting him after a week.

On Monday, a four-member team of medical professionals, headed by ENT specialist Dr Altaf Hussain, from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) visited Imran Khan in Adiala Jail for his medical check-up.

Aleema, who was the only one to engage with media said that Imran Khan’s personal doctor was not being allowed to meet him, and he is not permitted to speak to his children as well. She stated that Salman Akram Raja has been assigned to handle the his personal petitions.

Referring to Islamabad High Court (IHC) jurist, Justice Sarfraz Dogar, Aleema said that the Al-Qadir Trust decision could come within a week but a ‘certain’ Dogar was especially appointed to ensure that the appeal does not proceed.

“All these steps are being taken to ensure that Imran Khan succumbs to pressure but his resolve is firm and he said, ‘do whatever you want; I will not make a deal’,” she stated.

Aleema also said that Imran Khan disapproved of renaming Arbab Niaz Stadium, and stressed that original name be restored.
