ISLAMABAD: The Ramadan moon has been sighted across Pakistan, and the first fast will be observed tomorrow, Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Similarly, India and Bangladesh will also begin Ramadan from tomorrow.
President Asif Ali Zardari extended Ramadan greetings to the nation and the Muslim Ummah on the beginning of the holy month, calling it a month of mercy, forgiveness, and salvation.

He urged the nation to embrace charity during the holy month and support the needy to foster a spirit of sacrifice.
“Ramadan provides an opportunity for both individual and collective reformation, reminding us to help those in need and be mindful of the struggles of the less fortunate.”
President Zardari appealed to the people to give generously in charity and take special care of the needy, stressing that it is crucial to stand by the underprivileged beyond one’s capacity.
He prayed that Ramadan brings peace, stability, progress, and prosperity to Pakistan, and that Allah grants the nation the strength to uphold patience, piety, and compassion.
