DERA GHAZI KHAN: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif vowing to bring the country out of present challenges expressed his determination to surpass India in the race for development.
Addressing a mammoth public gathering during his visit to Dera Ghazi Khan the PM announced several development projects.
The Prime Minister began his speech in the Seraiki language and recited a famous verse by Pir Fareed, which was met with enthusiastic applause from the crowd.
He expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and said that he had come to deliver Nawaz Sharif’s message.
Addressing the gathering he announced the establishment of a cancer hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan and a university in Rajanpur. He said that he and his government plans to expand the networks of hospital across Punjab.
Expressing his determination to surpass India, Shehbaz Sharif declared, “If we don’t leave India behind, then my name is not Shehbaz Sharif. We will make Pakistan a great nation and move ahead of India.”

The Prime Minister claimed that inflation had dropped to its lowest level under the current government. According to him, when they took office, inflation was at 40 per cent, which has now reduced to 2 per cent. He emphasized that Pakistan would not progress through loans but by developing a self-reliant economy.
The Prime Minister stated that Nawaz Sharif had allocated a higher quota for South Punjab compared to the rest of the province, ensuring the region’s development remained a top priority for the PML-N government.
