KARACHI: Ahmed Ali Akbar, the award-winning Pakistani actor known for his role in Parizaad, has officially tied the knot.
The actor, who gained widespread recognition for his performance in the drama based on Hashim Nadeem’s novel, shared his wedding pictures on Instagram.
Announcing the news, he captioned the post: “My heart, my life, my peace, my home.”

Speculation about his wedding had been circulating for days, and the release of his wedding pictures has now confirmed the news.

Ahmed Ali Akbar married Maham Batool –a lawyer-turned model and social media content creator.
“Digital creator. Somewhere between art and law. Also Giving up personhood to become a full time abstract concept,” her Instagram bio reads.
She has appeared in many digital video commercials of renowned brands.

However, Ahmed Ali Akbar’s fans are curious to know more about her wife, which will be challenging for him as Parizaad is known for keeping his private life away from the limelight.
He also declared in his Insta post that “any photographs or videos from our wedding shared online violate our privacy. We do not consent to the publication or posting of any images or footage from our events.”
The current wedding season saw three celebrity weddings.
In the first week on January, Neelam Muneer, known for her roles in popular dramas such as ‘Qaid-e-Tanhai’, and ‘Dil Mom Ka Diya’ posted glimpses of her mayoun event to her Instagram.
She was followed by actress Kubra Khan, who wedded Gohar Rasheed in the last week of January.
Rumours of Gohar and Kubra’s relationship have circulated for years, though both have previously maintained that they share only a close friendship. Earlier this month, Gohar’s Instagram posts featuring cryptic videos of wedding preparations reignited the buzz.
They were joined by actress Mawra Hocane, who surprised her fans by announcing her marriage with Ameer Gilani in the first week of February.
