New PFUJ leadership congratulated by political, social figures


ISLAMABAD: The recently elected office bearers of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) have received congratulations and best wishes from prominent political and social figures across the country.

The newly elected leadership includes President Rana Azeem, Vice Presidents Qaiser Mirza, Farhat Fatima, Secretary General Shakeel Ahmad, Finance Secretary Sher Bano, Assistant Secretary General۔Qazi Rizwan and Furqan rao.

Distinguished leaders such as Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Chairman Senate of Pakistan Syed Yusuf Raja Gilani. PML-Q Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai, and several other key political and social personalities extended their felicitations to the newly elected PFUJ leadership.

They expressed their hope that the new PFUJ body will play a crucial role in safeguarding journalists’ rights and addressing their challenges effectively.

The leaders emphasized that journalists serve as the eyes and ears of society, and it is their duty to convey the realities of societal changes to the public.

They further hoped that the PFUJ leadership would actively contribute to social reform and uphold the principles of press freedom and journalists’ welfare.
