According to the official PlayStation Network (PSN) status page, all PlayStation services, including the PlayStation store, account management, gaming and social, PlayStation Video, and PlayStation Direct have been down since at least 3PM EST, 4 AM Pakistan time.
PSN users will not be able to sign-in to their accounts to play any online games until the issue is resolved. Sony have yet to issue a statement on the cause of the issue but did state that it was aware of the issue and working to fix it.
PSN users took to social media to post about their inability to access the Sony services and ask if other users were experiencing similar issues. Users were complaining about the outage, specifically the fact that even some games that are played online require an internet connection.

“This outage is making me realize how f****** stupid it is that almost every game requires an online connection to do things offline nowadays,” one Reddit user wrote.
Another user wrote about his difficulty playing the newly released Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. “Just got kicked out of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Can’t connect to the server to verify my license.”
Multiple PSN users voiced their frustration with not being able to access the beta for the highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds releasing later this month. “can’t even enjoy the monster Hunter wilds beta rn I’m gonna cry,” a Reddit user wrote.
Game developers themselves were letting players know about the difficulty they may experience in accessing their games today. Marvel Rivals developers NetEase told their community on Discord that they are “actively communicating with the PlayStation team and will restore the game once we receive a solution plan from the PlayStation team.”
