Lahore Police finalises traffic plan for tri-nation series

LAHORE: Lahore Traffic Police have finalised arrangements to ensure smooth traffic flow during the upcoming tri-nation cricket series.

Over 1,000 traffic officers will be deployed for the event.

To manage traffic efficiently, authorities will use 20 forklifts and four breakdown vehicles to handle wrong parking and clear congested roads.

Cricket fans can park their vehicles at designated spots, including areas near Government College, Liberty, CBD near Centre Point, and LDA Plaza, according to the police.

No roads will be permanently closed in Lahore during the tri-nation series, however, traffic may be temporarily halted during team movements, but roads will reopen immediately after teams pass.
