The Aadat singer also opened up about his personal journey, stating that January felt like a dormant period for him, but February brings a fresh start. “February marks a fresh start filled with renewed energy,” he shared.
Originally composed by Rahman with lyrics by Gulzar, Dil Se Re was picturized on Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala.
Apart from his music, Atif is actively involved in the Borderless World initiative, which aims to foster artistic collaboration and support emerging talent.
This isn’t the first time Atif has paid tribute to an Indian music legend. In 2015, he delivered a moving rendition of Kun Faya Kun at the GIMA Awards.
