Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant has urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lift the ban on TikTok, warning that if the platform is not restored, she will leave India and settle in Pakistan.
In a video shared on Instagram, Rakhi appeared at the airport with her luggage and made a bold statement: “Modi jee, please lift the ban on TikTok immediately, otherwise, I will go to Pakistan and settle there permanently after marrying a Pakistani man.”
The outspoken actress also revealed her desire to meet Pakistani celebrities, including Hania Aamir, Deedar, and Nargis. In a previous interview with journalist Murtaza Ali Shah, Rakhi expressed her deep admiration for her Pakistani fans and vowed to support them unconditionally.
Rakhi emphasized the financial opportunities that TikTok provides, urging for its unbanning so she could continue earning. She pointed to US President Donald Trump’s decision to resume TikTok as an example, arguing that many Indians depend on the platform for their livelihood.
It is worth noting that the Indian government banned TikTok and 58 other Chinese apps in 2020, citing concerns over national security and sovereignty.
