Centurion is set to witness history today as Pakistan’s star batter, Babar Azam, aims to surpass former captain Shahid Afridi on the list of Pakistani batters with the most sixes in T20I cricket. Babar, currently with 72 sixes, is just one six shy of equaling Afridi’s tally of 73.
The prolific batter, ranked fifth on the list, is chasing legends like Mohammad Rizwan, who leads with 95 sixes, followed by Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Hafeez with 76 each, and Afridi.

Following the T20Is, both teams will play a three-match ODI series beginning December 17 in Paarl, with subsequent games in Cape Town on December 19 and Johannesburg on December 22.
