Acclaimed actress Mehreen Raheel recently appeared as a guest on the show “Excuse Me With Ahmed Ali Butt,” where she discussed her acting journey and the challenges of motherhood.
During the interview, she revealed that she took a significant break from her career at the peak of her success to focus on her children’s well-being, particularly her daughter, who requires extra care.
Mehreen stated, “Motherhood is a very powerful tool Allah has given to every woman and some children need more time from the parents especially children who are differently able, my daughter needed me.”
She expressed her transformation through motherhood, saying, “My daughter has taught me a lot of patience… I am a better human being. Motherhood taught me to accept anyone without judging.”
Reflecting on her fears, she shared, “If I am gone, my kids won’t be ready for it. I am scared about leaving them.”
Despite these concerns, Mehreen emphasized her trust in Allah regarding her children’s future and mentioned how she has happily sacrificed much for them.
She concluded by saying, “Being a mother was the most wonderful experience that could’ve happened to me,” highlighting her commitment to enjoying every moment with her kids.
