BUREWALA: A gas cylinder explosion in a room claimed the lives of three family members including two children in Burewala, while a woman sustained severe injuries.
The incident happened while Danish Raza, along with his family, was asleep in a house in Fareed Town. The cylinder was being used to heat milk for their six-month-old child when it exploded, engulfing the room in flames.

While the children’s mother was critically injured and has been referred to Nishtar Hospital in Multan for treatment.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed sorrow over the tragic gas cylinder explosion in Burewala that claimed the lives of a family.
She extended condolences to the affected family and directed the Multan Commissioner to submit a detailed report on the incident.
The Chief Minister also instructed authorities to ensure a strict ban on substandard gas cylinders to prevent such incidents in the future.
