Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decline on Tuesday, following a drop in international rates. In the local market, the price per tola of gold fell by Rs7,000, bringing it down to Rs270,500.
Similarly, 10-gram gold recorded a decrease of Rs6,000, now priced at Rs231,911, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This follows Monday’s decline, when gold prices fell by Rs1,300, settling at Rs277,500 per tola.
On the international front, gold prices also experienced a decrease on Tuesday. APGJSA reported the global rate at $2,593 per ounce, including a $20 premium, marking a $77 drop during the day.
Silver prices followed a similar trend, dropping by Rs50 to settle at Rs3,250 per tola.
