LAHORE: The Punjab government on Monday further extended the ban on meetings with prisoners at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi for an indefinite period.
According to sources, the ban, which was extended due to security concerns, would apply to meetings with all prisoners; political and those serving prison terms for different offenses.

Initially, the provincial government had banned the meetings between October 4 and October 18
However, on October 18, the government announced an additional two-day extension and now again the ban on meetings has been imposed till further notice.
