ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif discussed the ongoing genocide happening in Gaza in a meeting on Friday, urging the public to donate to the relief fund established earlier in October.
“We will not leave the muslims fo Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon alone in their troubles,” said the Prime Minister.
PM Shehbaz discussed the relief fund this been established, urging the public to help the “defenceless Palestinians and Lebanese who are victims of Zionist oppression,” by donating generously.
Earlier in October, it was revealed that a special account titled the “Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Gaza and Lebanon” was established under the PM’s directives in order to extend further humanitarian support for Gaza and Lebanon.

Donations from domestic and international donors will be received at all branches of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the National Bank of Pakistan, as well as all other scheduled banks. Donations from foreign countries will be received at Pakistan missions before being remitted to the SBP.
The PM added that Pakistan will be sending an additional 3,000 tents and 12,000 blankets for Palestine and Lebanon, ensuring that the relief supplies would be fireproof.
“Global powers must immediately stop Israel from committing genocide against the people,” said PM Shehbaz.
On Thursday, the National Disaster Management Auhtority (NDMA) sent a 100-tonne shipment of humanitarian aid to Gaza and Lebanon, which included medicine, food, tents, tarpaulins, bedding, clothing, and milk. It marked the 10th aid shipment sent to Palestine and the second sent to Lebanon from Pakistan.
