KARACHI: In a daring daytime heist, the car of a retired police sub-inspector was stolen outside a private hospital near the stadium in Karachi.
The incident, which occurred two days ago, was captured on CCTV, and the footage has now surfaced.
According to the lawsuit filed, the car belonging to former sub-inspector from Saeedabad Police Training College was being operated by the retired officer’s driver as an online taxi service. It was stolen by four armed men, the first information report (FIR) detailed.

The tracker installed in the vehicle was reportedly disconnected near Gulshan Iqbal Block 13A, indicating premeditation.
The plaintiff further claimed that the culprits enlisted the help of an accomplice, who assisted in disabling the tracker over a phone call.
A case has been registered at the New Town Police Station, and the investigation has been handed over to the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell. Authorities are actively working to recover the vehicle and apprehend the suspects.
