Acting on the instructions of Director General Tahir Farooq, the LDA’s Town Planning Wing targeted various areas, including Gulberg, Faisal Town, Allama Iqbal Town, and Mustafa Town, sealing over three dozen establishments for unpaid commercial fees and unauthorised use.
The affected properties included private banks, schools, universities, medical centers, offices, warehouses, rental car services, beauty salons, and grocery stores.
According to LDA officials, multiple warnings were given to the property owners before this action was taken.
