New Fee Structure for Car, Motorcycle Driving Licenses in Sindh – Sept 2024
In Sindh, all citizens must obtain a driving license before driving on public roads. Those found without a valid license may face fines or legal action.
The Driving License Sindh department is responsible for issuing licenses for cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles. Drivers must pass both theoretical and practical tests to qualify.
Both men and women, aged 18 and above, can apply for a driving license. However, before visiting a driving license branch, applicants must first secure an online pre-appointment. On the day of the appointment, they need to bring their original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
Once registered, applicants must pass a medical fitness test per the Motor Vehicle Ordinance of 1965. Before obtaining a permanent license, a learner’s driving license, valid for one year, is required.
Car+Motorcycle Driving License Fee September 2024
Permanent car and motorcycle driving licenses are available for three or five years, with the fees being Rs1,410 and Rs1,860, respectively, as of September 2024.
