RAWALPINDI: At least 12 terrorists were killed in the Tirah Valley of Khyber district during the last 24 hours in intelligence-based operations conducted by security forces.
According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces are conducting extensive intelligence-based operations in the Tirah Valley following reports of the presence of Khawarij militants.

“On August 28 and August 29, security forces effectively engaged Khawarij locations. After intense exchange of fire, 12 terrorists of Fitna-Al-Khawarij were killed,” the ISPR stated.
“These operations have dealt a major blow to Fitna-Al-Khawarij and its affiliates. So far, 37 terrorists have been killed and 14 others have suffered serious injuries,” the ISPR added.
“The intelligence-based operations will continue until peace is restored in the area and the Khawarij are eliminated. The security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the press release said.
