Balochistan terrorist attacks claim 54 lives – HUM News


BALOCHISTAN: The toll from recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan reached 54 following the discovery of two more bodies in the Bolan district early on Thursday.

These remains were found amid the debris of a railway bridge in the Duzan area, where the violence occurred.

Sources indicate that the bodies were recovered two days after the attacks.

In response to the incidents, the National Highway Authority removed the collapsed railway bridge that obstructed the national highway, allowing traffic to resume after two days of closure.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti stated he was resolved to hold accountable those responsible for the terrorist acts. He stated, “There is a response, whether from the provincial or federal government; we will pursue these individuals relentlessly.”

Bugti also talked about the efforts taken to locate the attackers are actively underway.

Authorities have confirmed that cases related to eight distinct terrorist incidents in Musakhel, Bolan, Kalat, and Mastung have been filed at the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police station.

The CTD police In light of the rising violence, both federal and provincial governments have decided to bolster police and levies presence to restore order in Balochistan.

Railway officials have reported that it will take approximately one and a half to two months to repair the damaged bridge. Additionally, unfounded rumors regarding a possible terrorist threat to the Turbat Naval Base have been dismissed.
