Addressing the first meeting with the Iranian president and his new cabinet, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei urged the government to achieve the highest standards of artificial intelligence (AI) and build its own infrastructure in AI sciences.

Khamenei said that Iran was known for carpets and oil in the past, but today it is known for science, regional power and strategic depth. He said the ability to influence the countries of the world is a very important matter, and this is an opportunity that Iran should seize.

The Supreme Leader warned that the world’s opportunists and those who want to gain power were trying to create an artificial intelligence agency so that other countries cannot develop in this field.

Regarding cyberspace, Khamenei stated that it is uncontrollable and there should be a supremacy of law in this regard, otherwise, it will become a danger.
