Iran Parliament approves President Pazeshkian’s cabinet – HUM News


TEHRAN: Iran’s parliament approved all members of President Masoud Pazeshkian’s newly nominated cabinet on Thursday.

The 19-member cabinet, which includes a woman minister, received approval after a thorough review of the nominees’ qualifications and records.

On the fifth and final day of the session, 288 members of Iran’s twelfth Parliament voted to endorse the cabinet. This marks President Pazeshkian’s second presentation of the cabinet to parliament within a week.

The approved cabinet includes Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, as Foreign Minister, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh as Defense Minister, and Esmaeil Khatib as Intelligence Minister.Amin Hussain Rahimi will serve as Minister of Justice, Abdul-Nasser Hemmati as Minister of Finance, and Iskandar Momeni as Minister of Interior.

Other cabinet members are Ali Raza Kazmi, Sattar Hashemi, Mohammad Raza Zafarqandi, Ahmed Midari, Ghulam Raza Noori Qazaljah, Farzana Sadiq, Syed Mohammad Atbak, Syed Simai Saraf, Syed Abbas Salehi, Syed Reza Salehi Amiri, Mohsin Paknejad, Abbas Ali Abadi, and Ahmed Dunia Mali.
